2. Smooth behavior of meta-visualization with respect to hyperparameters

The 4x3 grid below shows meta-visualizations of the biological case study, for different choices of the two hyperparameters. The center meta-visualization in the top row (marked with a yellow frame) is the one used in the paper. Columns are different choices of the effective number of neighbors ($k$, which determines $\sigma_m$ and $\sigma_r$). Rows are different choices of the constant multiplier $c$ in the repulsion parameter $\mu$.

The meta-visualization changes smoothly for different hyperparameter choices. As expected, larger neighborhoods and larger repulsion multipliers reduce overlap between the mini-plots.
